What is included in the Self Catering Apartment?
We like to ensure our Apartment is a 'home away from home', so we supply all the essentials and more, to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We provide:
Food and Drink:
For Tiny Travelers:
Do you allow dogs?
While we do accept Service dogs, we like to keep the apartment as allergy friendly as possible, so pets are not permitted.
What's the best way to book with you?
With popular booking sites, big service fees are often added on top of our prices, so you pay more than we'd like, we recommend booking through our website to get the best deal.
Always try to book direct with your holiday lets, so they get 100% of their hard-earned money and you don't have to pay extra!
How do we get there and how do we pick up the keys?
After you've booked and everything is confirmed, you'll receive an email from us with all the details of your stay, this will include the code to our key lockbox and your travel directions. Our Contact Us page has directions too, if you like to start planning early.
What are your Check-In and Check-Out times?
We invite you to arrive from 4pm onward, and ask that you leave by 10am on the day of your departure. Occasionally we can make exceptions, especially during low season, so send us a message and we'll let you know if it's possible.
What if we need to cancel?
We offer full refunds if you cancel over 30 days before your booking, while partial refunds are given between 30 days and 14 days before your booking. If it's less than 14 days till your booking, we cannot offer any refunds as it's not guaranteed that the slot can be filled.
If you need to cancel or want to alter dates, please call and let us know as soon as possible.
Will there be WiFi/Internet and mobile phone signal at the Apartment?
Yes, we offer free WiFi and also live in a 4G area. Most mobile networks work reasonably well in Borve, but double check your supplier's areas online to be sure. As you travel around the Island, you may find some areas are amazing for signal and data-roaming, while others are total dead-zones - it's one of Skye's little quirks thanks to the mountains and randomly placed cell towers...
Is your property wheelchair accessible?
We are afraid our apartment is not wheelchair accessible as it's located on the second floor of our home. If you do need other assistance or minor adjustments made in advance, please get in touch and we will do what we can to make your stay a happy one.
What if something isn't right during our stay?
We can be contacted on our landline or mobile which will be on the Contact Us page or in your booking confirmation email. But if we are home, just give our door a wee knock.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! We offer discounts for our returning guests and anyone that books 7+ nights with us, just get in touch and we'll make sure you get a great deal.
How should we leave the property?
For those of you who still are or have been housekeepers in a past life, you may feel the urge to strip the beds and take the rubbish out and that's totally fine, in fact, we appreciate it a lot! But for those in a rush or who just like to leave things as they are, that's okay too, as long as you leave everything as you found it on arriving - clean and tidy. We ask that you lock the doors behind you and pop the keys back in the lock-box as you depart.
If you get halfway home and realize you've forgotten your favourite book, or that teddy your toddler can't sleep without, get in touch and we'll try and reunite you with them!
Got another question? Visit our Contact Us page and let us know, we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
